Sutton Heath Football Club held it's AGM on Friday 19th June.
Dave Ward has been Chairperson of the club for nine years. His wife Sue has been Club Secretary for the same amount of time. They had informed the Committee that they wished to stand down at the end of this season and formally did so at the AGM.
The Committee would like to thank them for their year's of hard work and committment to the club.
Paul Weavers, Treasurer and Manager of the Under 13 team also stood down at the AGM. The Committee would like to thank him for the contribution he has made to the club over the past few years.
We are pleased to announce that we were able to find new people to take over some of the key roles in the club and these people were formally voted on to the Committee.
Our new Chairperson is Keith Banthorp; we would like to welcome Keith to the Committee. Keith brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Committee and we all look forward to working with him.
Diane Coates was voted on to the Committee as Treasurer and Sue Hunt as Club Secretary. Welcome to them both.
Matt Perry and Dee Hague were elected as the Manager and Assistant of the Under 13 team and will take this team into the new season as Under 14's. We would like to welcome them to the Committee.
The Committee meets regularly to discuss all different matters relating to the club.
We would welcome the views of parents and players at any time.
We still need to recruit a fundraising officer to the Committee. If you are interested in this position please contact the Club Secretary.
Sutton Heath Football Club have again had a very successful season and we look forward to the new one.
